Privacy Policy
Overview
Ardent Labs builds browser extensions and this website. This policy explains what data is involved when you use them, and what is deliberately not collected.
The short version: this website has no user accounts and no third-party analytics, and our extensions are designed to process data locally in your browser.
This website
The Ardent Labs website is a static marketing site. It does not require an account, does not set advertising cookies, and does not include third-party analytics or tracking scripts.
The site is served as a Progressive Web App. If you install it, your browser stores the site's own static assets — pages, styles, scripts, and icons — in a local cache so it can load quickly and work offline. That cache contains only public site content and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as request timestamps and IP addresses) for security and operational purposes. These logs are controlled by the hosting provider, not used by us to build user profiles.
Chrome extensions
Each Ardent Labs extension is designed to inspect or adjust something in the browser tab you are actively working on — for example, reading a page's storage entries, reading performance timing data, or changing the viewport size.
That information is processed locally in your browser and displayed to you. It is not transmitted to Ardent Labs servers, and there are no Ardent Labs servers involved in the core function of these tools.
Extensions do not require an account or sign-in. Any settings or presets you create are stored locally in your browser.
Permissions
Browser extensions must declare the permissions they need. We aim to request the narrowest set of permissions that allows an extension to do its job, and to explain why each one is needed in the extension's listing.
If a future version of an extension requires a broader permission, that change will be visible in the Chrome Web Store update notes before you install it.
Third parties
We do not sell data, and we do not share data with advertising networks or data brokers.
The website is hosted on Vercel and may later use Cloudflare for DNS and edge services. Chrome extensions are distributed through the Chrome Web Store, which is operated by Google and governed by Google's own policies.
Children's privacy
Ardent Labs tools are intended for professional software development. They are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change — for example, if a future feature requires an optional account — this page will be updated before that feature ships, and the change will be described in plain language.

Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page. A dedicated privacy contact address will be published here once it is configured.
This policy describes the current, frontend-only release of the Ardent Labs website and its extensions. It will be revised before any feature that changes how data is handled is introduced.
